The story
Atelier Franssens in Beernem is not a classic tile factory but an artisanal ceramic atelier. It creates tiles, washbasins, lighting elements and claustra in ceramic for architectural projects. The atelier focuses on bespoke solutions for interior and exterior architects.
The story began in 1978 when Wouter and Tom Franssens’ parents founded a traditional flooring company in Beernem. Over the years the company evolved into a specialist for high-quality floors and wall finishes. In 2016, Atelier Franssens was launched as a dedicated ceramic atelier for custom-made pieces.
